A candle maker's workspace covered in handwritten batch records, recipe notes and test sheets
It works.
Until it doesn't.
The honest bit
01The problem

The problem is this.

  • Batch records live in spreadsheets you mean to update, but never quite keep on top of.
  • Recipes and batch info in note books, candle test info on loose pieces of paper.
  • When you actually need them, just before you're about to start making, you can’t find the details fast enough.
  • CLP labels saved in files on your PC somewhere.
  • Stock is guesswork, so you’re never completely sure what materials, labels or finished products you already have.
02The fix

Everything in one place, finally.

Everything in one place

Batch records, burn tests, CLP labels, ingredient records and finished products, all kept together. No more switching between spreadsheets, notebooks, saved files and half-remembered notes.

Built by a maker

Built around real making days, not perfect ones. The days where you’re pouring, testing, labelling, checking stock and trying to remember what you did last time.

Free to start

No card needed. Create your account, have a look around and start with the parts you need first.

Works on a phone

Made to use at the bench, mid-batch, when you actually need the information. Not later, when you’re trying to remember what happened.

Saves admin time

Upload an SDS once, then use it across the batches and labels that need it. Less repeating the same details over and over.

Peace of mind

Your records are kept together and ready to pull up when you need them, whether that’s for testing, remaking a product, or showing what went into a batch.

Everything logged, nothing on paper, ready the day someone asks.

How it works

Six steps, one flow.

1

Build your supplies catalogue

Add supplies once. Wax, fragrance oils, wicks, vessels and suppliers. Link these supplies to deliveries, stock updates, batch and test records.

2

Add your stock

Log what you have on stock, new delivery or stock you already have.

3

Create a batch record

Start a batch. It links to the recipe, the test sheet and the label for that pour.

4

Run your burn tests

Record every burn, test after test. Flame height, melt pool, throw, pass or fail.

5

Your CLP label builds itself

The generator pulls hazard data, pictograms and h and p statements from your SDS.

6

Export everything

Batch records and test sheets as pdf, stock and usage as csv. Ready to hand over.

Batch tracking

Batches

Log every batch: wax, fragrance oil, wick, vessel, supplier, batch numbers and status. It replaces the notebooks and messy spreadsheets.

Burn testing

Test sheets

Pour temperatures, dye details and up to 20 burns per batch, with a pass or fail result. The evidence a candle is safe to sell.

Ingredient and stock hub

Library

Stock, deliveries, suppliers and SDS files in one place. Upload an SDS once and it feeds every batch and label after that.

Saved formulas, reusable

Recipes

Keep your tried and tested formulas in one place and reuse them across batches, product types and pours.

Labels from your SDS

CLP label generator

Upload a fragrance SDS and the generator pulls the hazard data, pictograms and h and p statements for a UK CLP label, in minutes.

Ready when asked

Reports and export

Export batch and test sheet reports or download stock valuation, movement and usage data as a PDF, CSV or Excel file.

The maker

Hi, I'm Emma.

I’m a UK candle maker, and I built Pour & Track because I was struggling to keep on top of the paperwork that comes with making and selling home fragrance products.

My recipes were written in notebooks, test results were on loose bits of paper, and batch records were piling up faster than I could file them. Most of my time was going into making, which meant the admin side was constantly being pushed aside.

I needed a better way to manage everything, and I kept coming back to the same thought: I always have my phone with me. So I set out to create something that would make the whole process simpler, more organised, and as paperless as possible.

That’s how Pour & Track started. What began as a way to store my own recipes, test results and batch records gradually grew into a full workflow and stock management app. I also wanted CLP labels built into the process, so makers could keep more of what they need in one place.

Pour & Track has made a huge difference to the way I work, and my goal now is to make that same difference for other makers too.

For suppliers

Partner with us.

For UK fragrance, wax and wick suppliers. Pour & track reads the SDS and CLP documents you already publish and turns them into a maker's label, extending what you offer rather than competing with it.

A natural extension

Every uk supplier already publishes sds and clp documents. Pour & track is the only app that reads those files and builds a maker's label from them.

Free content, drafted for you

A guide or tutorial for your blog or newsletter, written to your format, with no work required on your side.

Protects your reputation

Your customers stay trading standards ready, which reflects well on where they bought their materials.

A preference I had myself

As a maker, I always preferred ordering from a supplier that had the CLP side sorted. If that mattered to me, it surely matters to other makers too. Pour & Track builds the label either way, from a finished product SDS or a raw material one, so that's one more reason for your customers to choose you.

A real uk maker story

Built by an actual customer of yours, the kind of founder story your audience already responds to.

Outside the UK?

You can still use it.

Every part of Pour & Track works wherever you make. Your batch records, burn tests, recipes, ingredient library and reports are the same the world over.

The CLP label generator is the one piece built specifically around UK label requirements. So makers elsewhere get the full workflow, just without the UK label step for now.
